When pondering Lynda Lane, most local residents think of a free place to park near the hospital. Few locals realize that Lynda Lane Park has been the home to cricket since the late 1980s. The posted co-ordinates represent the center of the east cricket pitch.

Baseball was played in the north field as early as the 1960s. By 2006, the baseball diamonds were gone. In 2015, four fields to play ultimate frisbee were marked where baseball was once played. Today, cricket is the only sport officially played in Lynda Lane Park.
