And one more view of the New World. This time a view of the Capuchin alley, which connects Loreto and Nový svet street. The street is very popular with painters of Prague's nooks and crannies (

The Capuchin Monastery at Hradcany in Prague is the oldest Czech monastery of the Order of the Capuchin Friars Minor. It is located at the northern end of Loretánské Square next to the Prague Loreto (

The monastery was founded as early as 1600 by the General of the Order, Lawrence of Brindisi, who was later canonized. The convent was gradually built in the 17th and the first half of the 18th century. It is connected to the neighbouring Prague Loreto, which is administered by the local Capuchins, by an above-ground connecting corridor.
