Depuis le 1er janvier 2017 Aumont-Aubrac fait partie de la Nouvelle Commune de Peyre en Aubrac.
Véritable alternative aux aires de services, ce Village Étape vous propose de faire une halte en toute tranquillité dans un cadre agréable.
Aumont-Aubrac est le 12ème village de France à obtenir le label «Village étape» et le 2ème sur l’A75 après Massiac, en août 2002.
Vous y trouverez tous les services dont vous aurez besoin (boulangeries-pâtisseries, boucheries-charcuteries, épiceries, cafés, boutiques souvenirs, garage, taxis…). Situé à moins de 5 km ou 5 min. de l’axe routier, le Village Étape ne dépasse pas 5 000 habitants et s’attache à conserver son caractère de village.

Since January 1, 2017 Aumont-Aubrac has been part of the New Municipality of Peyre en Aubrac.
A real alternative to service areas, this Stopover Village offers you a peaceful stopover in a pleasant setting.
Aumont-Aubrac is the 12th village in France to obtain the “Stage Village” label and the 2nd on the A75 after Massiac, in August 2002.
You will find all the services you need there (bakeries, butchers, delicatessens, grocery stores, cafes, souvenir shops, garage, taxis, etc.). Located less than 5 km or 5 min. from the main road, the Village Etape does not exceed 5,000 inhabitants and strives to preserve its village character.
Aumont-Aubrac is also on the Chemin de Santiago (St Jacques de Compostelle)
