September 14, 1931 - October 16, 2021
Theodore M. Kondracki, 90, formerly of Linden, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
"Family and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visiting hours at Werson Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 20th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral will begin on Thursday, October 21st at 9am from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church in Linden on Thursday, October 21st at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
"Ted was born in Elizabeth and grew up in Linden. He proudly served his country as a Sgt. in the Army as a Tank Commander during the Korean War. Before moving to Brielle, Ted spent his life in Linden where he and his wife built a home and raised their family. He was employed at Weldon Concrete for 40 years driving a cement truck, retiring in 1993. Ted was also a councilman for Linden in the 80's and he was able to implement the Emergency Response System that was used throughout Linden.
"Ted was a music lover of all genres and an avid reader sometimes reading two books at once. He was a gifted carpenter but not by trade. Ted was a dedicated and loving husband, dad, poppy and gigi poppy. He will be missed and loved forever.
"Ted was predeceased by his parents and siblings. He is survived by, his beloved wife of 67 years, Marion Kondracki (Lapira); his loving daughters, Cyndi Miller and her husband Rick, Sally Kardashian and her husband Glen; his precious granddaughters, Rachel Fulmer and her wife Lindsey, Lauren Kardashian and her partner Scott DeCarlo, and Lindsey Kardashian; his great grandchildren, Chase and Shay Fulmer." ~ Tribune Archive
