"“The Coyote” is a life-size bronze sculpture depicting a coyote standing in heightened awareness of his surroundings. Weber created the sculpture as part of a large diorama with the famous Lewis and Clark sculpture depicting their journey across the river as the coyote watches with full attention. Two casts of the coyote were made and the other is located at the Drury Plaza at Market and Broadway with the Lewis and Clark sculpture. Weber’s work embodies human emotion and power with a spontaneity developed from a lifelong habit of sketching from life.
