Anton Perzinger carved this stone head of a bull elephant in 1998. Now it pokes out of a planter on downtown Calgary's Barclay Street.
1998 is the same year that the North American Guild of Stone Sculptors held their symposium in Calgary. Many of the sculptures created then are in Nat Christie Park, near the Bow River. Perhaps this was created at the same time?
