There are a couple of these sculptures in different St. Chares Parks, with no plaque no info. They look as if by the same artist, but not sure.

County of park: St. Charles County
Location of park: Elm St., near Elmwood Dr., St. Charles
Size: 12 acres

This statue, sculpture is at the entrance to Jaycee Park. Appropriate, since this city park is geared to children.

The statue is of two children. A boy and a girl. Both dressed in "T" shirts and shorts, both bare footed. The boy is bending over, and the girl, with legs akimbo, has her hands on his back as she springs over his body in a classic leap-frog.

There is no plaque here, no sign, nothing to tell one the artist, the name of the work, nothing. I made up the name "Leap-Frog" and thought it accurate.
