To reach the marker, one can drive on Forest Service Road 967.D with a high clearance vehicle or park near the intersection of 967.D and State Highway 59 at N43 35.805 W105 28.580 and walk in. The marker is in-line with a north-south barbed wire fence and about 5 inches south of a bent wooden fence post.
