This bandshell is referred to with two words, as in Band Shell, in all the local signs and descriptions. It is an interesting structure, consisting of the bandshell portion and a pavilion of seating. The park sign describing it provides the following information:

"The Kutztown Park Band Shell was constructed in 1914, with a pavilion added in 1922, as part of a cluster of structures that also included a dance hall and a roller skating rink, a restaurant with an artesian well that provided its water supply, a caretaker's residence, scooter ride, a merry-go-round, a shooting gallery and penny arcade, two baseball diamonds and even a miniature railway."

The bandshell and the attached pavilion has seating for a large audience, but both areas are only open during performances. Most of the existing structure is the pavilion, but the circular bandshell still exists closer to Main Street.
Check here if the structure has a roof (required for posting): yes

Check here if the structure is enclosed or mostly enclosed on three sides (required for posting): yes
