A You Are Here map and info board at the Wellhouse Lane entrance to Glastonbury Tor.
Located at the foot of the southern pathway leading to the tor. Part 15 of the Glastonbury Way. The info board tells a little about the church atop the tor.
"Glastonbury Tor is often associated with the great Archangel Michael who signifies strength and protection. Some people believe that there are straight lines of energy running across the landscape, known as ley lines, and that many monuments and places of worship are located on these lines. One of the most famous of these is known as the St Michael Line, starting at St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, passing through the Tor, then Avebury stone circles, across the country to the great abbey at Bury St Edmunds."
