ES: "Puerta de Los Leones
Estructura compuesta de dos cuerpos, abiertos cada uno de ellos, rematados por un león tumbado. El proyecto es del arquitecto municipal Julián Pastos (1835), ejecutado por los maestros canteros J. Portela y José Benito Marrazo. Inicialmente formaba parte del cierre ornamental que delimitaba el recinto de La Alameda, frente a la Porta Faxeira. En 1885 se trasladaron los templetes a su posición actual, en el inicio del Paseo de La Herradura."

EN: "Porta dos Leóns (Lions door)
It is a structure composed by two parts, both of them opened, finished by a lying down-lion. The project is by the local architect Julián Pastor (1835), and it was implemented by the master quarries J. Portela and José Benito Marrazo. Originally, it was part of the ornamental closure which defined the limits of the Alameda, in front of 'Porta Faxeira'. In 1885, the shrines were moved to their current location, at the beginning of the 'Ferradura' walk."
