EN: The cemetery of Liesberg is located to the east of the Roman Catholic church of Peter and Paul in the center of the village.
A few isolated, apparently mostly older graves can still be found south of the church on the edge of the surrounding wall.
The site measures around 30 by 100 meters and is terraced in various stages.
Today there are around 30 to 40 graves in the cemetery and most of the area is empty. However, older photographs show that the western segment was almost full in 2017 with around 160 graves. Apparently, an above-average number of graves have been removed in recent years.
Most graves contain only names and dates. An example from one picture: "Erich Hornung Halbeisen 1952-2006"
DE: Der Friedhof von Liesberg befindet sich östlich der römisch-katholischen Kirche Peter und Paul im Dorfzentrum.
Einige vereinzelte, offenbar meist ältere Gräber stehen noch südlich der Kirch am Rand der Umfassungsmauer.
Das Gelände umfasst rund 30 auf 100 Meter und ist in verschiedene Stufen terrassiert.
Heute befinden sich rund 30 bis 40 Gräber auf dem Friedhof und der grössere Teil des Areals ist frei. Ältere Aufnahmen zeigen aber, das das westliche Segment im Jahr 2017 mit gegen 160 Gräbern fast gefüllt war. Offenbar wurden gerade in den letzten Jahren überdurchschnittlich viele Gräber aufgehoben.
