Vítkovská trat
Od hlavního nádraží vedla vítkovská trat po jižním úbocí Vítkova, u západního konce Kališnické ulice se zanorovala do tunelu a vycházela na druhé strane kopce nad karlínskou Invalidovnou do výhybny Vítkov. Z duvodu smerových pomeru po této trati nekteré z vlaku nemohly jezdit. Trat byla jednokolejná, ale tunel byl stavebne dvoukolejný. Tunel je dlouhý 270 m.
Zrušení trati a vybudování cyklostezky
Po zprovoznení nových vítkovských tunelu, které jsou soucástí tzv. Nového spojení dne 1. zárí 2008, byla ke stejnému datu Vítkovská trat zrušena a budova vítkovské výhybny zborena.
Puvodne se pocítalo se zazdením tunelu, pozdeji bylo dohodnuto prebudování trati vcetne tunelu v cyklostezku. Cyklostezka na telese zrušené trati byla stavebne dokoncena v polovine roku 2010. Ke kolaudaci nakonec došlo na jare roku 2011.

Vítkov trail
From the main station, the Vítkov line ran along the southern slope of Vítkov, at the western end of Kališnická Street, it plunged into a tunnel and exited on the other side of the hill above the Karlínská Invalidovna to the Vítkov turnout. Due to the directional conditions, some of the trains could not run on this line. The track was single-track, but the tunnel was built with two tracks. The tunnel is 270 m long.
Canceling the track and building a bike path
After the opening of the new Vítkov tunnels, which are part of the so-called New Connection, on September 1, 2008, the Vítkov track was canceled on the same date and the building of the Vítkov turnout was demolished.
Initially, it was planned to wall the tunnel, later it was agreed to rebuild the track, including a tunnel in the bike path. The cycle path on the body of the canceled track was completed in the middle of 2010. Approval was finally given in the spring of 2011.
