"NUMAX Bookstore opened its doors in March 2015.
We are a new and original bookstore that houses more than 6000 titles in a space of 45m2. We work for a wide and diverse offer, for the sake of bibliodiversity. Our extensive network of distributors allows us to make available to our customers books that are not available in the rest of the city's bookstores. In addition, aware of the importance of offering readers the encounter with what they were looking for without knowing it, we sought a layout that facilitates surprise and discovery, which requires work that goes beyond the arrangement of titles by publishers, creating different sections that favor a tour organized by the printed culture of different knowledge. Aware of the importance of the fund in the cultural bookstore, we favor a continuous flow of books on display that allows for rich dialogues to be generated between said fund and the novelties, for example through thematic tables and other preferential exhibition spaces.
Our staff has training in Humanities and extensive experience in the book sector, which allows us to guarantee a professional and quality service.
We arrangeonline library, with a catalog that already has more than 29 thousand references, with the option of collection in store and shipping service (also international).
We also sell films (dvd and bluray) and music (Cd, vinyl), including imported items, sold exclusively within the Spanish territory.
We share premises with Cinema NUMAX and have a small ambigú with coffee and other drinks service.

Libraría NUMAX is one of the lines of economic activity of NUMAX S. Coop. Galician.
NUMAX is a cooperative of associated work non-profit: our profits are not distributed among the members, but are reinvested in the project, guaranteeing its strengthening and viability, and making it possible for us to work in the cultural field without giving up stable working conditions.
We work to energize our community, in the center of Santiago, and we try to collaborate and work together with other social economy projects.
We are part of other entities of the social economy, such as Espazo Coop, Coop57 or Nosa Energía SCG.
NUMAX bookstore is part of the network of Spanish bookstores confederated in CEGAL, through the Federation of Galician bookstores.
Since 2019, it has had the distinction Seal of Quality Bookstores, certification granted by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and the Association of Book Chambers of Spain."
