Perrin Memorial Garden is just southeast of town, on the west side of \US 281. John Andrew Montgomery was but thirty-six years of age at the time of his death. His Woodmen of the World monument is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a square base. The marker is behind a small shrub, next to a tree. The inscription is:
