There are three cemeteries on this single plot of land - Old IOOF Cemetery, IOOF (sometimes called New IOOF) Cemetery, and Graves-Gentry Cemetery. Graves-Gentry Cemetery is in the center of the plot, with IOOF Cemetery to the west (with the entrance on Highway 281) and Old IOOF Cemetery to the north. Some of the graves here are covered in concrete and some are surrounded by curbing. There are many large family plots, and many tall older headstones. The active and well-maintained cemetery has a variety of trees and shrubs, including many patches of bluebonnets (the State Flower of Texas). The oldest burial was in 1882. In 2021 there were 1,032 documented burials.
