On Plac Franciszkanski you can sit on Pope Francis' bench. The bench is painted green and made of metal and wood. The backrest is a very nice piece of art, in fact it looks like silhouette art. The motif is various flowers and trees. The motif is inspired by the works of the artist Stanislaw Wyspianski, which can be seen in the Franciscan Church. The text Franciszek "dziekuje prosze przepraszam" in golden letters is also placed on the artwork. It is Polish and means "thank you, I'm sorry"
Next to the park is the building where Pope Francis spoke to the youth in 2016. In his speech, the words "thank you, sorry and please" were repeated several times. These three words are written on the seat of the bench, and are written in several languages.
In the small park area there are several other benches made in the same style.
