"El Convento de San Francisco de Paula de Lucena (Córdoba) fue fundado en 1680, junto con una ermita bajo la advocacion del patrón de los mínimos, por voto de la ciudad a causa de la epidemia que sufrió en ese mismo año.
De la antigua ermita sólo se conserva la portada, pero el resto de la iglesia fue edificada en 1730. El Convento fue suprimido con las leyes desamortizadores de Mendizábal."

"The Convent of San Francisco de Paula de Lucena (Córdoba) was founded in 1680, along with a hermitage under the patronage of the patron of the minimums, by vote of the city due to the epidemic it suffered in that same year.
Only the doorway of the old hermitage remains, but the rest of the church was built in 1730. The Convent was suppressed with the disentailment laws of Mendizábal.
