Reloj de esfera redonda blanca en contraste con el negro de sus números romanos y sus manecillas. Reloj de reciente puesta en servicio, año 2014, instalado en la fachada principal de la ermita.
"Joya del Barroco Cordobés, considerada una de las mejores iglesias barrocas de la zona y conocida popularmente como "El Calvario", fue declarada como Bien de Interés Cultural en la categoría de Monumento en el año 2005. La reconstrucción del templo fue iniciada por Cristóbal de Santa Catalina.
Pese a que la construcción culminó en 1729, el edifico no adquirió su configuración actual hasta principios del siglo XIX.
Se puede apreciar en todo el templo una clara huella lucentina, debido a la intervención del arquitecto Leonardo Antonio de Castro. Así, siguiendo las pautas del Barroco lucentino, el templo presenta un acusado contraste entre su imagen exterior, compuesta con gran sencillez a base de mampostería y ladrillo, y su interior, decorado siguiendo todo un despliegue de ornamentación propia del estilo Barroco.
Se dispone con planta de cruz latina y cabecera plana con amplio camarín, mientras que el crucero se cubre con cúpula semiesférica sobre pechinas, de rica decoración de yeserías.
Atribuido a Francisco José Guerrero, el majestuoso retablo mayor es de madera dorada sobre fondo verde y presenta una decoración que es propia del tercer tercio del siglo XVIII, pudiendo fecharse hacia 1770. Además, el retablo alberga la imagen del Patrón Ntro. Padre Jesús de las Penas, Ecce homo realizado en pasta de papel en 1664."

Clock with a white round dial in contrast to the black of its Roman numerals and hands. Clock recently commissioned, year 2014, installed on the main façade of the hermitage.
"Jewel of the Cordoban Baroque, considered one of the best baroque churches in the area and popularly known as "El Calvario", was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the Monument category in 2005. The reconstruction of the temple was initiated by Cristóbal of Santa Catalina.
Although construction was completed in 1729, the building did not acquire its current configuration until the beginning of the 19th century.
A clear Lucentine imprint can be seen throughout the temple, due to the intervention of the architect Leonardo Antonio de Castro. Thus, following the guidelines of the Lucentine Baroque, the temple presents a marked contrast between its exterior image, composed with great simplicity based on masonry and brick, and its interior, decorated following a display of ornamentation typical of the Baroque style.
It has a Latin cross plan and a flat head with a large dressing room, while the transept is covered with a hemispherical dome on pendentives, with rich plasterwork decoration.
Attributed to Francisco José Guerrero, the majestic main altarpiece is made of gilded wood on a green background and presents a decoration that is typical of the third third of the 18th century, and can be dated to around 1770.
