This is one of uncounted transformer-stations which provides electricty for a village. This one is place at the entry of Altenhof, a small district (177 citizens) of Asbach in the Westerwald. It has a quadratic layout and is about two floors tall. It is operated by Kraftversorgung Neuwied, a local provider of electricity and distributes the line coming from Niedermühlen to the houses in Altenhof.
