"A water pump interesting because unlike traditional pumps, it has a button mechanism on the top

Bayard standpipes are fountains made by Bayard. These are curiosities of public places, especially Lyon and Grenoble.

The Bayard company patented the mechanism of the turnstile fountain in 1901 in Lyon.

The pressure of these pipes thus increases the water at the tap.

The distributed water is universally drinkable."

Les bornes-fontaines Bayard sont des appareils de fontainerie fabriqués par l'entreprise Bayard. Ce sont des curiosités des lieux publics, en particulier lyonnais et grenoblois.

La société Bayard breveta le mécanisme de la fontaine à tourniquet en 1901 à Lyon.

La pression de ces canalisations fait ainsi monter l'eau au robinet.

L'eau distribuée est universellement potable."
