A brass plaque noting the location of the first settlement in Washtenaw County being just west of the Huron River at 64 North Huron Street, Ypsilanti MI 48197. The plaque is tarnishing somewhat from being over 100 years old. The Golden Whee of the Daughters of the American Revolution can be found in the lower third of the placard between the text and erected by portion.
