George Washington fought for the freedom of the 13 colonies from British rule as General Washington and later our First President. Martin Luther King Jr. fighting for civil rights and freedom from oppression in the 1960's led many peaceful protests and was part of the famous civil rights March on Washington. Both meet at this corner in Langston, OK.
