The concrete triangular post with a Rt. 66 shield shaped plaque marks the FAP (federal aid program) section 137 through Oklahoma of the iconic Route 66. This is indicated as section F which spans 4.877 miles of this original part of Rt 66 built in 1929.

This is thought to be one of only 2 or 3 remaining original Rt 66 markers in Oklahoma.
