At Aleja Elvisa Presleya - Elvis Presley Avenue - there is a memorial to Elvis Presley. The memorial consists of a large golden stone, where a sculpture of Elvis' head is placed and surrounded by silicone or similar material.
The memorial stone is located at the start of Elvis Presley Avenue, an avenue that continues into a park. It is clear that the memorial stone is visited and maintained as there are both flowers and lights on the site.
The creator of both the Avenue and the memorial stone is the dedicated Jan Blajda, vice president of Krakow's Elvis Presley fan club.
In 2006, he wanted Krakow to commemorate Elvis. He requested the city council to rename part of a street and call it Aleja Elvisa Presleya. The city council agreed, and therefore there is now memorial stone at an avenue, in memory of Elvis Presley.
