The metal disk is embedded in the middle of a section of the concrete sidewalk on the south side of Fresno Street about 202 feet west of the southwest corner of the intersection with Blanco Road. It is about 292 feet east of Grant Street. The disk is about 12 feet east of a telephone pole that is near the edge of the sidewalk.

The City of San Antonio (COSA) Control Disk is a round metal disk stamped with specific markings related to projects sponsored by the City of San Antonio.

Across the top of the disk is stamped:

Point No. 7

In the center of the disk is stamped a triangle.

Across the bottom of the disk is stamped:
PRJ NO. 40 - 00004

When standing at this disk, looking across Fresno Street, you will be looking at the entrance of the River City Federal Credit Union drive-through banking area.
