When this sidewalk was poured, it was scored with indented lines that divided the sidewalk into sections. The SE corner itself at the intersection of Grant and Fresno is section zero. The first section of sidewalk heading east toward the bridge and farther on to Blanco Street is section one. There are three sections of the sidewalk before the walkway that goes to the front door of the house at this corner lot. The City of San Antonio (COSA) Control Disk is a round metal disk stamped with specific markings related to projects sponsored by the City of San Antonio.

Across the top of the disk is stamped:

In the center of the disk is a triangle.

Across the bottom of the disk is stamped:
PRJ NO. 40 - 00004

This metal disk is mounted flat with the top of this concrete of this first section of the sidewalk. It is about 8 feet from the telephone poke at the corner. It is also about three sidewalk sections west of the sidewalk that runs N/S from Fresno to the front door of the house.
