Taken from the website, "Paul Horiuchi was commissioned to create a mural as a backdrop for the Mural Amphitheatre. The mural runs the length of the amphitheatre's stage. Horiuchi's design was transferred to glass tile panels in Venice, Italy, by Olivo Santagostino. Paul Thiry was the architect who designed the Mural Amphitheatre for the Seattle World's Fair.
