One of many art installations at Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington. It was created specifically for the 1962 World's Fair.

Photos taken on 8 October 2023. The plaque says, "This carved stone cairn was originally a feature of the Lang Fountain, part of the grounds of the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. It has seen been repurposed as a stand-alone object of art. Swiss sculpture Stahly was fascinated with obscure forms and patterns in nature. he was one of the founders of Art Informel, which proposed a pure form of expressionistic abstraction.
