"History Built between the 16th and 18th centuries by the Mercedaria Calzada order , it was practically destroyed in the 19th century, when it became a military barracks, later it was the Military Government, and finally the MADOC. All this led to the destruction of the church, from which some roofs were saved, today mostly dismantled and stored in warehouses of the Junta de Andalucía, or in the building itself, from the portals, whose stones were used as filler.
