This ginormous Fishing rod complete with fish overlooks Callahan Creek which crosses under Highway 2, at Callahan Creek Cutoff Road.

This really big rod, complete with fish, is beside Callahan Creek which crosses under Highway 2 here, at Callahan Creek Cutoff Road. There's a pullout and a small parking area for the curious.

I'd say that the casting rod is over twenty feet in length and has a bait casting reel that is close to a foot in diameter. The average rod of this type ranges from approximately 6 to 9 feet in length and the average bait casting reel averages approximately 7 to 10 inches.

There is a huge rainbow trout dangling from the pole. In some states there is not a size limit, however if regulated on average is 14 inches.
