A cement pedestal stands on a busy corner behind the VFW post. At the base is a metal plaque in a small rock base. The pedestal has a small metal piece on it, the rest of the helicopter rests on the ground nearby.

Marker Text: THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS POST 2932 OF ARANSAS PASS, TEXAS ON THIS DATE WOULD LIKE TO DEDICATE THIS UH-1 HUEY HELICOPTER AS A MEMORIAL RECOGNIZING AND HONORING THOSE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO RISKED THEIR LIVES SO THAT THEIR FELLOW MEN MAY LIVE IN PEACE FOREVER. THIS HELICOPTER IS ONLY ONE OF MANY THAT HAS CARRIED OUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN INTO BATTLE AND SAFELY BACK.
