Clovery Woods of Rest was set up by Fiona Rankin and her late husband Alexander in 2002 as one of Scotland's first natural burial grounds. It is situated in the Aberdeenshire countryside of north-east Scotland just over a mile to the south of the village of Fyvie.
The site was formerly farmland and the five acres have been transformed into natural woodland with trees of Scots Pines, Birch, Aspen and Rowan forming the burial plots of nearly two hundred.
The site also features a hall which can cater for ninety people along with toilet facilities. The woods of rest can be found on the eastern side of a minor road that leads from the A947 at Fyvie.
