Victoria Hall, built in 1879, has a double storeyed Italianate style rendered brick facade with a tower on one corner. Originally the building consisted of a large hall with a raised platform or stage, at the south end of the hall was a large gallery to which access was gained by a staircase built within the tower.The front of the building contained two shops between which was a vestibule for the hall entrance.
