Medieval building, renovated along the 17th and 18th centuries.
Unique building, with double access staircase. Inside, there is a small courtyard, with a well as its central element.
It is supposed to have been the former residence of the Counts of Alcoutim, after the grant granted to the firstborn of the Marquis of Vila Real by King D. Manuel I in 1496.
The Casa dos Condes was renewed in 1998 by the municipality and, inside, the municipal library and a temporary exhibition room were installed.
