King George is an elevated station on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. Located in the south end of the Surrey City Centre district, the station was opened in 1994 and is now the eastern terminus of the Expo Line.
This plaque commemorates the SkyTrain Extension and the opening of King George Station by Mike Harcourt, Premier of British Columbia.
The plaque is located at the eastern entrance of the station, the inscription reads:
