This Roman Catholic church is located on rue des Églises Ouest in Abercorn, Quebec.

Built in 1865 for an Anglican congregation to designs by architects Lawford and Nelson, St. Simon's Church was the first place of worship erected in the village of Abercorn. Located away from the first buildings of the village, the church is characteristic of settlements with an English-speaking tradition.

Around 1924, the Anglican community transferred its church to the old Abercorn Union Church, after the departure of the Methodists. The Catholic faithfuls of the village, who were more and more numerous, acquired this church and arranged it according to their religious confession. The parish of Saint-Simon was created in 1941.

In November 2020, the church was deconsecrated and the parish was merged with that of Saint-André in Sutton. In January 2021, St Simon's Church, Abercorn, was officially sold. The new owners want to revitalize this gem so that it can continue its work in the community.
