Both of these cannons were used in the Civil War. One was forged by Revere Copper Company and the other by Henry N. Hooper & Co. in Boston, Massachusetts. They are located at the Historic Fort Steilacoom.

Both of these cannons are located at Fort Steilacoom in the area that was originally the officers quarters. The cannon on the left was forged by Revere Copper Company in Boston. The sign near the cannon says this about it:
This cannon has a 4.62 inch bore, the same as when new, indicating that it was probably used very little. It was ordered by the North on August 26,1863,and inspected by the ordinance officer, Thomas J. Rodman. The barrel weighs 1220 lbs.The cannon on the right was cast by Henry N. Hooper & Co. in Boston. The sign near it says this:
This cannon has a 5 inch bore and a hausse seat on the top of the breech for a pendulum sight. The gun was ordered by the North on September 8, 1862, and inspected by ordinance officer, Thomas J. Rodman. The barrel weighs 1220 lbs.
