The Dedicated Bench has five narrow wooden slats for the backrest and five for the seat of the bench, which had been lacquered, but they are now a little weathered. It has grey painted 'The City of Orange', Cook Park themed cast iron ends for the arm rests. It is placed on the crushed gravel similar to the bisecting gravel paths through the Park. The weathered engraved metal plaque is screwed (with two Philips head screws) to the top slat of the backrest, and the inscription reads:

EDNA 'ED' RUSSELL
Passed Away 5-8-1992

This seat was donated to the citizens of Orange
In her memory by her children Philip and Sue
