Oaklawn Cemetery is in Batesville, just west of a fishing pond. The entrance is in the northwest corner, on Sidney Street. You can also slip in the back way at the fishing pond. There are about eighty-five hundred memorials here. The centerpieces of the cemetery are a fine high-roofed gazebo and the only stone mausoleum on the grounds.
