"La Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción de Gilena es u interesante edificio originario del siglo XVII y de estilo barroco aunque es de origen románico, pues se han producido reformas en el siglo XVIII añadiendo capillas y retablos. Se construyó por orden de Los Marqueses de Estepa y en su interior encontramos obras de arte entre las que destacan la imagen de Santa Ana, de la escuela de Alonso Cano y la de San Francisco de Asís, de estilo barroco del siglo XVIII".

"The Church of the Immaculate Conception of Gilena is an interesting building originating from the 17th century and of baroque style although it is of Romanesque origin, as reforms have been carried out in the 18th century adding chapels and altarpieces. It was built by order of the Marquises of Estepa and inside we find works of art, among which the image of Saint Anne, from the school of Alonso Cano, and that of Saint Francis of Assisi, in the baroque style of the 18th century, stand out.
