"Esta iglesia pertenece al convento de las Hermanas de la Cruz y fue construida entre 1929 y 1932.

Es una muy sencilla, neogótica y con una nave abovedada con lunetos y arcos fajones. El retablo mayor de esta iglesia es también de estilo neogótico y la hornacina central está presidida por una Inmaculada Concepción obra del escultor estepeño Manuel Escamilla en 1967.

Destacamos también en su interior varias piezas que tienen su origen en otras construcciones que desaparecieron, tales como una imagen de San Francisco del artista Miguel Márquez y dos ángeles lampareros que provienen de la iglesia de la Concepción.

Tanto la fachada como el interior están construidos en estilo neogótico. Guarda algunas imágenes procedentes de conjuntos desaparecidos: dos ángeles lampareros de la iglesia de la Concepción y una talla de San Francisco, obra del escultor Miguel Márquez."
