IOOF Cemetery is in Lewis and Clark County, Montana This cemetery is just one of about thirteen larger cemeteries located in Helena. Helena was founded as a gold camp during the Montana gold rush, and was established in 1864. The current population of Helena is approximately 30,000 residents. Helena is the Montana state capital and is also the county seat of Lewis and Clark County.
IOOF Cemetery is less than an acre in size with large tree throughout the cemetery. It was established in 1895 by several lodges of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) from Helena. There are approximately 1,025 known interments.
