Doris Bauer bench - Cook Park, Orange, NSW, Australia - Dedicated Benches on Waymarking.com

The simple narrow wooden slat bench has grey-painted cast iron ends, set just off of one of the many gravel paths that bisect Cook Park. While the wooden slats were originally lacquered, they could do with another coat. the rectangular etched brass plaque is screwed to the top back slat, and has the following inscription:
