PT: "Igreja Matriz, remonta ao sec. XIII e à fundação de Contrasta por D. Paio Gonçalves Carramondo. No interior conserva 5 retábulos em talha polícroma neoclássica e barroca e na capela-mor o retábulo em talha igualmente polícroma, neoclássica. A capela anexa, de 1277 apresenta elementos arquitectónicos fantásticos e a inscrição "Esta capela mandou fazer a(fonso) p(e)r(e)z e sua molher m(aria) ro(dr)i(gue)z, era de mil tr(escentos) XV". No interior da capela é possivel apreciar as pinturas murais quinhentistas."
EN: "Main Church, dates back to the 17th century. XIII and the foundation of Contrasta by D. Paio Gonçalves Carramondo. Inside it preserves 5 altarpieces in neoclassical and baroque polychrome carvings and in the main chapel the altarpiece in equally polychromatic, neoclassical carving. The attached chapel, from 1277, features fantastic architectural elements and the inscription "This chapel had a(fonso) p(e)r(e)z made and its jetty m(aria) ro(dr)i(gue)z, it was a thousand three(hundreds) XV". Inside the chapel it is possible to appreciate the 16th century mural paintings."
