The Fallen Firefighter memorial is located at the West Virginia State Museum just west of the Capitol at 1900 Kanawha Blvd E #435, Charleston, WV 25305. The Memorial was erected by the West Virginia Firemen’s Association and placed here September 9, 1994. The SIRIS listing calls it "A full-length figure of a firefighter stands outfitted with mask and air tank, holding a baby wrapped in a blanket in his arms. A plaque lists the names, dates, and towns of firefighters who have lost their lives since 1901 in the line of duty."
