En estos dos mosaicos podemos ver al imagen de la Virgen María y la de San Fernando Rey.
La técnica del Artistic Mosaic consiste en unir de forma artesanal estas pequeñas teselas de vidrio de diferentes acabados, formas y colores para crear obras de diseño en suelos y paredes.En la fachada de la Iglesia, en el campanario, hay dos mosaicos, del Rey Fernado y de la Sta Ines.
"La parroquia de San Fernando Rey, de Mondrón, se creó el 21 de septiembre de 1945- fecha de su erección canónica- por el entonces Obispo de la Diócesis de Málaga, Don Balbino Santos y Olivera, según consta en la lápida colocada en el interior de la iglesia.
Una vez firmada la preceptiva erección canónica de la parroquia, se hacía necesaria la construcción del templo. En esta tarea colaboraron todos los vecinos de las barriadas de Mondrón y Vilo, con aportaciones en metálico, trabajo, materiales diversos, etc., cada cual según sus posibilidades personales y económicas, pero todos ellos con una disposición y entusiasmo dignos del mayor elogio y reconocimiento. El mérito fue mayor si tenemos en cuenta la crisis económica y social que vivía España en los años cuarenta, años de posguerra, de infausta memoria para todos, tiempos de miseria y penuria de toda índole, con secuelas diversas en la vida y el recuerdo de mucha gente…
Construida la estructura del edificio con su techumbre, paso a paso y con los sacrificios y sudores antes apuntados, faltaban muchas cosas pendientes para que fuera posible la celebración del culto en la misma. Mientras se culminaban las obras, los primeros actos litúrgicos (misas, bodas, bautismos, comuniones…), tenían lugar en una casa de calle Abajo, propiedad del entonces vecino, José López Fernández, el niño de Becerril.
El párroco que inició las obras de la Iglesia y regentó la misma durante bastante tiempo, fue, según consta también en la antes citada lápida, don Ramiro Gil Recio".

Once the structure of the building with its roof was built, step by step and with the sacrifices and sweat noted above, many things were left pending for the celebration of worship to be possible. While the works were being completed, the first liturgical acts (masses, weddings, baptisms, communions...), took place in a house on Abajo Street, owned by the then neighbor, José López Fernández, the boy from Becerril.
The parish priest who began the work of the Church and ran it for quite some time, was, as also stated in the aforementioned tombstone, Don Ramiro Gil Recio.
The first marriage - and perhaps the only one - celebrated in this temporary chapel on C/ Abajo, I quote the information as a mere curiosity, was that of Antonio Vegas Guerrero, Correcales, with Pilar Zorrilla Delgado, Pilar del Rubio. The ceremony took place on December 30, 1946, as recorded in the corresponding sacramental book. Both spouses still live in venerable old age.
In the 80s the Church was completely restored.
