The sculpture 'ZIT' is a typical creation by Erik Buijs. He works out his personal language and imagery in clay forms. His creation evokes an atmosphere of imaginative figuration, as if the figure on the prehistoric bone has just walked away from a fairytale world and looks at the astonished viewer and perhaps invites him or her to sit next to it.
