"It has a Latin cross plan, with three naves and another transept covered with a dome. The central nave is higher in height than the lateral ones, as is the case with the transept, with the dome emerging above all of them. At the head The volume formed by the bell tower is attached, covered by a hipped roof, as is the dome of the transept on which there is a weather vane in the shape of a Greek cross with an openwork circular crossbar and the ends finished in the shape of a trident. Next to The aforementioned dome is juxtaposed with the sacristy, which is very similar in height to the rest of the church.
The interior organization is evident on the main façade. The greater height of the central nave is evident in the emerging pediment, molded in brick and in which a circular skylight opens. At the top of the pediment there is a wrought iron cross whose arms end in fleurs-de-lis. In the existing panel between the pediment and the façade there is a semicircular window that illuminates the choir. The side naves, lower and separated from the central nave on the façade by rows of brick, also have rectangular windows that give light to the baptistery and the storeroom.

The tower, located at the head and made entirely of brick, which is offered seen in its characteristic russet color, is made up of five bodies on imposts, the one at the base being square and the remaining ones with the corners killed. The central body decorates its chamfers with carved bricks and the next one with boxed pilasters. The openings for the bells (one dated 1861 and another in 1915) open with semicircular arches and all of this is covered by a very pointed spire with a broken profile. In the corner of the transept that faces the nave of the Epistle and Outside, at a considerable height, there is an open niche with a semicircular arch and covered with a hemispherical vault. Above this niche is the entablature and then a split curved pediment that finishes it. In this public oratory the Virgin of Sorrows is displayed, a work of polychrome terracotta.
