This World War II Memorial is located as part of the park containing the
Criel Mound at 301 7th Ave, South Charleston, WV 25303.
The monument consists of an 8 foot tall concrete slab with the dedication on the obverse and the list of local area service members who died in World War II on the reverse. This sits atop a wider base concrete pedestal. Also located in the area is a Vietnam Memorial along with a Blue Star Memorial marker.
